Gorbachev's 80th Birthday Concert

It’s not every day that you get an invite to the Birthday celebrations of ‘the man who changed the world’.

So, when we got our press pass we couldn’t wait to get on the Red Carpet at The Royal Albert Hall for Mikhail Gorbachev’s 80th Birthday concert.

The concert line-up included Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry, mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins and former Spice Girl Mel C, while the event was presented by Hollywood stars Sharon Stone and Kevin Spacey.

Goldie Hawn, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Milla Jovovich were just some of the A-list guests.

The concert raised funds for Gorby 80 Ltd, which Mr Gorbachev and his daughter Irina founded to help children suffering from leukemia.
