The premiere of the new animated film ‘HOP’ took place in central London today and we were present as ever.
Celebrities that walked the red carpet included Lisa Faulkner, Joanna Riley, Steve Backley and John Adeleye (click on their names to read our interviews with them) plus the stars of TV show ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
The film, which features the voices of Brits Russell Brand and Hugh Laurie, tells the story of Fred, an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny and must take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world’s worst houseguest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up, with everything leading the two to an epic showdown to save Easter.
Although it cannot be said the film is a masterpiece, it is an enjoyable family film which will delight children excited with the magic of Easter.
Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, the film makes use of technological advancements and it's story is reminiscent of one of the many Christmas films albeit replacing Santa with the Easter Bunny.
Children will love the humorous Easter Bunny, whilst cameos from David Hasselhoff and Russell Brand, in human form, will keep the parents amused.
The film is certainly worth taking the kids to this Easter, in between scoffing all the eggs!
