Reported Problems With Apple's iPhone 4

After its big release, Apple have called a news conference to discuss problems discovered with the new iPhone 4 with regards to the antenna and its signal strength.

Many users of the new Apple product have been far from happy with the latest offering from the company, who have become a household name during the last few years.

However, the manner in which Apple have dealt with these reported problems has drawn criticism from industry professionals and consumers.

It is important that Apple act quickly as due to modern technology, which the iPhone takes advantage of, it doesn’t take long for criticisms of the product and company to spread quickly on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

After requests to recall the product, the furore around the iPhone 4 antenna has snowballed. However it is predicted that a total recall would cost the company almost £1 billion, whereas the distribution of free rubber bumpers to alleviate the problems would be much cheaper, costing around £118 million.

Despite these apparent problems for Apple, the sales of the product are still going strong.
