Speaking after her success at The British Comedy Awards on Saturday night, Miranda Hart says she hopes her show may soon make the move to BBC1.
Talking backstage at The 02 Arena, Hart said: “I hear BBC1 are interested in the show, which is very exciting”.
‘Miranda’ triumphed in the Best New British TV Comedy category, although fans of the show may have to wait a little longer for the next series with the star admitting, “I’ll probably take a bit longer to write this series”.
Away from the TV show, Hart said, “To just do something completely different would be really nice.”
“I’d love to make my West End debut.”
"That would be lovely and then I could write in the day though that is probably completely unrealistic."
The comic, who also picked-up The People’s Choice Award, said she would "love" to play the part of Miss Hannigan in the musical ‘Annie’.
So perhaps next year Hart will also be triumphing at The Olivier Awards.
