Relentless Boardmasters

Following its phenomenal success last year, Europe’s largest extreme sports and music festival ‘Relentless Boardmasters’ is returning to Newquay’s Fistral Beach from the 4th to 8th August.

The five-day-festival will blend world class sport with four stages of live music, showcasing headline music acts Newton Faulkner, Plan B and Seasick Steve plus the talents of surfers from across the globe.

Despite the beachside setting, surfing isn’t the only sporting activity taking place across the festival. Skating and BMX also play a huge role in the event with the Vans Summer Sessions, Europe’s biggest vert skate comp, and the Vans Summer Session BMX Mini Ramp Comp taking place across the week.

Andrew Topham, Events Director at Sports Vision, commented: “We’re very excited about this year’s event and proud to present some of the world’s greatest surfing talents for the WQS competition. The introduction of camping will further enhance the festival experience and encourage music and surf lovers from across the UK to come to Newquay for the event.”
