On Saturday night the stars of the British comedy world gathered for the prestigious annual Awards Ceremony at The 02 Arena in London.
Jonathan Ross returned to host the ceremony in front of an audience packed full of celebrities from Goldie Hawn to Louie Spence.
However it was female comic Miranda Hart who stole the show picking up three awards (Best New British TV Comedy, Best Comedy Actress and the People's Choice Award).
Also bagging gongs on the night were The Inbetweeners for Best Sitcom, John Bishop for Best Male Comedy Breakthrough Artist and Michael McIntyre for Best Male Comic.
Unfortunately unable to attend the awards, Russell Brand sent a video message upon winning the award for Outstanding Contribution To Comedy whilst Harry Hill sent his TV creation ‘Wagbo’ to collect his prize for Best Comedy Entertainment Personality.
The night was a fitting tribute to another stellar year of British comedy.
