After reports that music superstars Will.I.Am and Jay-Z both want to sign-up X Factor’s Cher Lloyd, British rapper Tinchy Stryder has stated he would ‘definitely’ like to work with the young star.
Speaking at The British Comedy Awards on Saturday night, Stryder declared: “I’ve met Cher a couple of times and she has got a lot of energy and positive drive.”
The London star was also praising of Cher’s X Factor rival Rebecca Ferguson, who has reportedly just agreed a deal with Epic Records, saying “I went to watch the show live and Rebecca can really sing.”
Although wary of the programme’s negatives, Stryder admitted, “I guess it must be good as we all watch it.”
Stryder himself has just been announced as R&B megastar Usher’s main support act for his upcoming five UK concerts.
