The Red Carpet at The Jameson Empire Awards was packed full of Film Stars and we had a chat with one of our favourite young actors, Will Poulter.
The ‘Narnia’ actor was clearly delighted to be at the Ceremony:
“It feels fantastic; I’m such a big fan of Empire and so am really looking forward to it. There will be a lot of great talent in the room and it’s been a great year for film in general, British and American so it’s good to celebrate it.”
As a fan of ‘The King’s Speech’, Poulter will be pleased that Colin Firth triumphed once again to pick up the Best Actor gong.
We don’t think it will be long though before Poulter picks up his own Best Actor award, and at just 18 years old, he is a definite star to keep your eye on.
At the moment he is still trying to keep his feet on the ground and has one big problem, that of juggling school and his acting career:
“I’m still trying to balance it, though not very well!”
The ‘Son of Rambow’ star also gave us the inside scoop about his new project:
“I just finished a film with Dexter Fletcher called ‘Wild Bill’ which was great, really good fun and hopefully that will be going to Cannes in the Summer.”
That is definitely a film to look out for.
